The Cypress Core Growth portfolio is a predominantly large cap portfolio that employs a strategy of growth at a reasonable price. We seek high quality companies that trade at attractive valuations relative to their internal growth rates and that are fundamentally positioned to deliver long term growth in earnings and dividends. These are typically franchise companies with strong financial characteristics, market leadership positions in attractive global industries, and proven track records.

The objective is a diversified portfolio that grows appreciably faster than the S&P 500 index with a valuation to earnings multiple that is only slightly above the index. Our investment time horizon is three to five years or longer, with a focus on identifying and holding companies that can deploy their invested capital over the long term at above market internal rates of return. This keeps Cypress portfolio turnover relatively low and provides the benefit of tax free compounding.
